Over the Covid19 shutdown in 2020, we obtained funding from the NY State Star program for a visit to the Rochester Institute of Technology Environmental Chamber, about the size of a small room. The goal was to revisit the Proof of Concept, only this time to cover the entire range of ambient air temperatures from 90 – 60 degrees Fahrenheit for distances out to 36 inches. This plot turned out to be a basis for [...]

Emissivity Proof of Concept
Core Temperature? Non-Invasive? Emissivity Proof of Concept An emissivity temperature survey was conducted over two days, November 29 and 30th, 2017 at Pace University, The Design Factory, located at 163 Williams Street in New York, NY. Thirty randomly selected student volunteers participated in the collection of data: 20 males and 10 females. Information from this survey was used to develop the Emissivit [...]

NEW | Human Subject Testing
In this short video, we are able to “see” what Thermowand Technologies monitor sees through our aiming camera that displays a small red square on the subject’s forehead to assist in aiming the monitor. The flashing numbers represent Skin Surface Temperatures readings obtained during this demonstration. The final number displayed, 98.7 F represents the Core Temperature reading corrected for emissivity based on the Skin Surface Temperatures detected. This subject’s test result is Normal based on a normal temperature of 98.6 F for humans.
