Core Temperature? Non-Invasive?
How is it possible to get a subject's Core Temperature by non-invasive means? Humans generate their temperature by internal body processes. Clothing is one method to prevent the heat which radiates from their skin, Skin Surface Temperature (SST), from escaping. Nature also gives humans a method that helps retain their heat which is their skin tone. The scientific name for this is emissivity and it varies [...]

NEW | Human Subject Testing
In this short video, we are able to “see” what Thermowand Technologies monitor sees through our aiming camera that displays a small red square on the subject’s forehead to assist in aiming the monitor. The flashing numbers represent Skin Surface Temperatures readings obtained during this demonstration. The final number displayed, 98.7 F represents the Core Temperature reading corrected for emissivity based on the Skin Surface Temperatures detected. This subject’s test result is Normal based on a normal temperature of 98.6 F for humans.
